Dr. Pickle is trained in state-of-the-art techniques and procedures for treating many diverse and complex dental conditions and restoring optimum function and esthetics. He provides all phases of dental restorations and prostheses, beginning with comprehensive advanced diagnosis and treatment planning. He utilizes esthetic porcelain crowns and veneers, implant retained crowns and dentures, complete and partial dentures, functional and cosmetic partial or full mouth reconstruction and TMJ disorders management. Dr. Pickle also provides interdisciplinary care and support for dental oncology/maxillofacial prostheses patients who require prosthetic restoration of the jaws, eyes, ears, nose or related facial structures, and oral appliance therapy provided for snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, xerostomia (dry mouth) from radiation or medications, and temporomandibular disorders. Dr. Pickle’s office includes an in-house dental laboratory available on-site for fabrication and repair of most prostheses in a quality-controlled environment.

Expert Speaking, Lectures and Continuing Education
As well as reviewing scientific journals and attending several national and international prosthodontic meetings annually to stay informed on state-of-the-art procedures, Dr. Pickle teaches both locally and nationally to dental study clubs, prosthodontic related organizations and the general public. He serves on several speakers’ bureaus and is a popular, entertaining communicator on dental-related topics.

Dr. Pickle’s Professional Education and Background

1994 – Colorado Springs, CO – Private specialty practice limited to esthetics and dental implant prosthetics. 1995 – Denver, CO – University of Colorado Health Science Center School of Dentistry; Department of Restorative Dentistry, Clinical Associate Professor, clinical instructor and guest lecturer for undergraduate, graduate and continuing education.

1993-1994 – Houston, TX – University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; Fellowship in maxillofacial prosthodontics and dental oncology. Full time clinical, academic and research program dealing with all aspects of dental management of cancer, congenital and trauma related head and neck disorders.

1991-1993 – Dallas, TX – Baylor College of Dentistry; Master of Science in Dentistry (MS). Specialty certificate in prosthodontics with emphasis on comprehensive advanced diagnosis and treatment planning, implant prosthodontics, fixed and removable prosthetics, extensive dental materials and laboratory techniques.

1992-1993 – Dallas, TX – Veterans Affairs Medical Center; Prosthodontics staff resident for clinical and laboratory management.
